Working with Ruthie was a blast! Just a week before our little girl was born, we quickly asked if she was available. We were much obliged that Ruthie agreed on such short notice. She made my vision a reality by helping choose a location and time of day based on what we wanted. It’s never easy getting photographed, but Ruthie made it fun. She’s so easy going, down to earth and efficient. It also helps she loves dogs, considering we wanted to include our 4 legged family member. The pictures turned out amazing! The lighting, the angles, the laughs she captured; they are timeless. We were so happy with her work and not to mention her enthusiasm in getting them returned to us so swiftly. I must also note, we had a short time frame to capture the most perfect sunset and she waited patiently for the right moment and even used many backgrounds to provide us with variety. We were highly impressed with her creative ideas and her professionalism throughout. We will definitely be using Ruthie again for our most special occasions.
I cannot rave about Ruthie enough! She is professional, but fun and so engaging with our kids and family. Ruthie has taken the most important photos for our family, to birth announcements to milestone birthday portraits, to our kids birthday parties and events and she never disappoints. She is engaged with all her clients and she becomes like family. It is truly an honor to not only call her our family photographer but a friend and someone we consider family. We have a hard time getting a picture of our family mostly looking in the right direction at the camera but Ruthie is really patient and good with kids and somehow managed to get more than enough. We booked a session very last minute and she was quick to respond and very accommodating. I’m really happy with how the pictures turned out and the straight forward discussion about pricing. Keeps it simple. Overall very good experience with Ruthie. And now I don’t have research photographers anymore.
